The rate of banning books or the attempt to ban or censor books has grown at an alarming rate in the past few years. Some states have higher rates than others. It is not only the classics that are still getting banned or are becoming controversial, but children's books with topics or themes such as LGBYQ+ or Antiracism, or books that don't have the "typical" norm for a family. What is that anyway? The Mother, Father, and two children, a boy and a girl, is an antiquated idea.
This page will be used to inform, and is also connected to the information on Amy's Bookshelf Reviews.
