Welcome to the Past
Reminiscences of Balls-Town: Echoes and Whispers of Forgotten Legacies is not just a history book; it is a walkthrough memory, a quiet act of listening to the lives that shaped a community and those nearly lost to time.
Ingrained in generations of cemetery walks and guided by the author’s deep commitment to reminiscence, this book brings together archival research, family lore, and poetic reflection. It honors the prankster sons and dedicated daughters, the women whose names barely made the records, and the children who never took a breath. Some left behind headstones; others left only whispers. All left a mark.
Through silhouettes where photos are missing, and carefully linked memorials on FindAGrave, the author restores connection across generations. Each story is a thread in the hidden tapestry of Balls-Town’s past, woven from the stories of the lives and deaths of people, people that leave a mark, even if it’s a grave marker, headstone, gravestone, a passing article in the newspaper, under “deaths” with a simple two-line obituary, or one with a deserving obituary, honoring their lives.
This is a book for those who believe that every life matters, that memory is an act of love, and that even the quietest voices deserve to be heard. It is a tribute to lives lived and unlived, a lantern held up to the shadows, and an invitation to walk beside the author in honoring the legacies etched in forgotten corners.

Kindness is not weakness.
It’s the strength to listen when others turn away.
It’s the courage to speak gently in a loud world.
It’s the choice to see worth in every soul—especially our own.
I created this campaign because I’ve been dismissed.
But kindness refuses to be silent.
Join me. Wear it. Share it. Live it.
Be kind. Always.
In November 2005, Amy was attacked by her husband, where he almost killed her. She was punched in the face, kicked in the head, back, and anywhere possible on her body, and almost strangled to death.
So, this is what's "wrong" with Amy.
Since the attack almost 20 years ago, she's had the same migraine, but the levels of severity may be different from day to day, and she does get "normal" headaches, which feels like it's laying on the other migraine. She was diagnosed a few years ago with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND), which is different from person to person. The brain sends incorrect signals to parts of the body, mostly pain, tremors, and spasms. She has neuropathy in her feet, and also has chronic pain in her joints and muscles. FND can make the body mimic other diseases. She can also have awake seizures, and she falls a lot.
This does NOT stop her from having multiple purposes in life. She cherishes every moment of life, and believes that everyone should be remembered, and anyone who needs assistance should get it. Especially when she helps other authors... one of her biggest purposes.

Yes, I love Star Trek. TOS, TNG, Enterprise, Voyager, Picard. I own all the movies, and the DVDs of the shows I listed.
I am also a collector, from trying Picard's wine, to figurines and displays for the characters.
The MOD Life Epic Saga is a category in itself. Follow the lives of the Sars Springs residents, with stories about crime, punishment, human experimentation, and bringing back the dead, but the romance and family aspect is always there.
