Amy C. Shannon is a writer/author and poet (semi-retired). Amy C. Shannon runs the book review blog "Amy's Bookshelf Reviews," which has become extremely popular for Indie authors and their books. She runs a writer's blog, The Official Blog of Amy Shannon, which she uses to promote herself as well as other authors, and provides services for them as well. Amy is the author of over 150 stories, with more than half as part of different series or sagas.
On a personal note, in 2015, Amy received her Bachelors of Arts in English; in 2016 her Masters of Arts in Adult Education and Training, and her MBA, certified in accounting in September of 2019. She is also an ordained minister.
Amy has been writing most of her life, poetry, short stories, full length novels. Amy offers assistance to other authors, to help them promote and market their work, or just guide them through the publication process. Amy is an experienced editor, (content, copy and editorial feedback), and promoting literary professionals' work and brand.
She is currently working on short stories, using dictation and recording tools since she had been
diagnosed with a Functional Neurological Disorder, which affects how her nervous system sends signals to various parts of her body, causing tremors, spasms, and pain. She has also been diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis, which currently affects her hands, elbows, shoulders, hips, knees and feet.
With the sale of her new book, Balls-Town: A Community of History, Friends, Neighbors, and Lingering Spirits, she can now claim the title of Amazon Best Selling Author.
